Welcome to the Boston ColdFusion User Group

The Boston ColdFusion User Group (BCFUG) is an Adobe User Group for Boston area web developers who use or are interested in using Adobe ColdFusion. Meetings are generally held mid-month in the evenings and are always free.

We discuss a variety of topics related to web development presented by well-known community leaders in the field. We also offer many oportunities to network with fellow programmers in your local area. About the presentation
Have you ever overwritten a file, causing the loss of changes from another developer who was working on the same code? Or have you ever overwritten a file that you originally wrote a long time ago, and realized that you want the old file back? It's instances like those where code versioning software, like Subversion, can be a good practice from day-to-day, and a lifesaver in emergencies. Subversion records different iterations of your own code, helps you merge changes from two different developers, and lets you review the log of changes over time. And most importantly, it's extremely easy to use. I'll tell you how to use it for daily development in this presentation.
